Easter Party 2014

Today was so much fun and I took so many pictures I just couldn't wait to write about it!! One of the girls from church hosts an annual Easter egg hunt at her complex on the playground. Everyone just brings food and eggs and watches the kids go crazy. It was so much fun! Working 40 hrs a week keeps me pretty secluded from all the mommy events and playgroups, so I love being able to attend stuff like this! And it gets Payton so involved with the kids. We are really trying to help Payton get more involved with other kids. He is so smart and spends most of his time learning on his own just exploring and observing but he has no social skills at all. There were over 50 kids there today and he played by himself the whole time. This is OK. I know that, but I would like to help him see how much fun he can have playing with other kids as well as playing by himself. ( I think a sibling will help this one day also). So I just try to attend as many functions as I can to help.

Anyway, Payton is obsessed with swings! He would stay on them all day if we'd let him. Haha.

Look at all that hair he's getting!! We actually have to brush it now!
And it's coming in bleach blonde like his daddy's was.

Kids love mountains. Haha. He got the idea from the other kids
to run to the top of this pretty steep hill and try and slid down. So cute watching him try!

We did a game where we gave the kids a hard boiled eggs and seen who
could throw it the farthest down the hill without it breaking. Payton just played fetch with
his egg but I was so proud he never broke it!

He found out running down a steep hill is harder than it looks..
But maybe sliding on his belly got him down a little quicker than walking..

Our Little pitcher in the making!

Eating all our yummy candy after finding the easter eggs! Talk about a crazy
sight.. The kids were all released to go hunt easter eggs at once. It looked like Spartan warriors coming at you! Haha.

It was such a beautiful day today (about 80 degrees!) and I was so glad we got to spend it outside. So glad Spring is finally here!
