I call it March Madness because thats all this month was. Haha. We did nothing in particular, but stayed busy at all times.. March was a great month but it went by way to fast! The only reason I am happy for this month to be over is to say good-bye to the snow!!
At some point during this month we had a family barbecue with some people from church and Payton took his first turn on a see-saw. And if you can't tell from the picture he absolutely loved it!
He loves playing with Clair so much. He will tell you this is his best friend. I don't blame him she is one of the sweetest girls I've ever met and loves playing with Payton Man.
He always has a smile on, on our drive to church!
So one day I decided that when Chad brought me Payton after work I'd take him to the park while Chad was in class.. They have ducks at the park that Payton loves to feed so I picked up some bread to feed them. We weren't even half way down the road when I look back and Payton had gotten ahold of the bread and started in on it.. Yes he ate at least 4 buns. My kid is OBSESSED with bread. Any kind. Haha
This is his purple Easter Dinosaur he just hhaaadddd to have at
the store when spotting it a mile away..
The second Tuesday of this month was the "Relief Society Birthday Party"
at church. So all the girls met up and played Minute-to-Win it games and ate yummy cake.
Seriously the most fun Ive had in a while. I'm so blessed to have these awesome ladies as
my friends!
It is now April and Im just now making a new wreath for the door.
Chad refuses to have a bare door, which means that up until a few weeks ago we
still had a Christmas wreath on the door! I have tried a lot of Pinterest projects
and for the ones that turn out they seem to be more money than worth making. But this one turned out cute and was only about 40$ to make. So it was still much cheaper than buying one!
Payton is becoming SUCH a boy!! He is now totally into wresting
with Daddy and playing in the mud. He also loves to make silly faces with Mommy(:
His newest accomplishment is learning how to drink out
of a glass. Yes I know he's two and a half and should know this already..
But i simply didn't feel like cleaning up a mess all the time. He's doing great though
and has comprehended that it will spill if tipped over.
He loves going to the grocery store with me because they always
give him a sucker!
His first Burger King breakfast croissant. If he is ANYTHING like
his Mommy or Daddy he will be addicted to these his entire life.
Well we've only been here three months but we've
had to say good-bye to our first missionary. He was amazing. Elder Felberg absolutely
loved Payton and could play with him for hours. And who doesn't
love people that love their kids? But he was also a great missionary who
taught me so much. I was so blessed to have him a part of our life.
So i got my first busted nose.. Last Saturday I got a TERRIBLE
stomach virus. I am 100% sure it is the virus that made those
cruise ships turn around from so many people catching it. Chad got it on Wednesday
and it only took 3 days and I had. Literally the most miserable I've ever been. My body already has a problem with getting to dehydrated to fast. After being sick for 3 hours I went to go back to bed and
just collapsed on the ground. I hate passing out so much and for some reason my body loves it. This was actually taken Tuesday so it looks much better. But I am definitely staying away from everyone that has this bug. I do not want it back! Everyone at work now has it :(
For sure way to make a two year olds day:
Buy him a balloon with balls on it..
Double score.
I actually just love this new picture of Chad and I. He has been so great
these past few months. I know Pharmacy school is gunna stink so I hope
to look back at these pictures and just remember its just the school making
him act crazy! Haha
So excited for April just for the warm weather! I also now teach Primary at church so I'm excited to start getting creative with the kids and helping them learn and grow as much as I have! Can't express how happy I am with where we are in life and how happy we are with the decisions we've made!
