Fun in February!

We had so many fun things happen these past few weeks. The monster truck jam came to town so we had to bring Payton of course! Then we actually had a full weekend of "warm" weather. (maybe in the 40s) so we took advantage and stayed out in the sun all day! The only complaint we have about WV (and probably only because we are from Texas) Is that their winters just last forever!! It starts getting cold in September then doesn't warm up until May. Unfortunately we have hit the coldest months now.. Febrauary and March. I am dreading this next 4 weeks. It hasn't gotten above 20 degrees in probably 3-4 weeks.. Us Texans miss the SUN!!

Payton loved the monster trucks.. Unfortunately he was scared for life
without his ear muffs on. In his defense they we're extremely loud..

They did a really neat skit at the end with robots that
shot fire..

And this was Payton pulling out of the parking garage.
He definitely gets his sleeping habits from me. he fell asleep
mid sentence. haha.

Around Valentines day we heard about this amazing deal at a
local 3D/4D imaging center. They were doing 30 min ultrasounds
for 30 dollars. We couldn't pass it up and took the opportunity to go see Carsons
sweet little face.

He is measuring about 2-3 weeks ahead and already has the cutest
chunky cheeks! He kept his foot by his face the entire time. And we only got him
to stop sucking on his arm for maybe 5 min to take these two pictures.  I can't wait
to meet this sweet little boy!!

We love our new house and how close it is to the elementary school!
Its maybe 1/4 mile down the road! Anytime we see sun we head
down there to play on the playground and basketball courts!

I caught this cute picture of Payton and Chad laying on the couch talking.
Payton walks up to Chad and says "daddy can you move your big
muscles so I can lay down with you" Its so sweet. He thinks the world of his daddy!!

My Mom bought me these adorable stickers to take
bump photos with! I have been trying my best to remember to use them.
I found a book she made me when I had Payton. It had a belly picture of
each week I was pregnant with Payton. It was so fun to look back on!
I had completely forgotten I had it. Now I am hoping to make another
one with Carsons Belly pictures.  I seem to be following about the same path
as I did with Payton up until these past few weeks. I think Carson may have him
beat now!

Payton is loving learning the meaning of all the holidays. Even
the small ones. So of course when I explain to him that for
Valentines day we show people how much we love them.. He
says he needs to make his daddy a Valentines Day gift.
So thanks to pinterest he made a cute heart card for him.  He is so sweet.
