I was really worried with how Payton would do his first time on the plane. I figured he would either LOVE it or just absolutely hate it. I was wrong.. haha. He didn't know any different. He sat and played games just like he would in the car..
But boy did he know when we arrived at Meme and Pappy! He was screaming their names all the way from his seat in the plane!
And of course his Pappy spoiled him almost everyday..
I love that he has tons of kids his age to play with here in Wv. But he prefers being in Texas and being the only kid getting all
the attention.. haha. Boy is that about to change in a few days..
We went to a craft sale at the civic enter. It was super neat and had awesome stuff. Payton ended up leaving with a marshmallow bow. It was pretty cool we couldn't pass it up. Unfortunately, If I was to rate it, I wouldn't recommend it. The marshmallows get stuck and you have to boil them out. Super frustrating. But he loved it for the time it was working!
FINALLY Chad made it to us!! It felt like the longest 3 weeks ever! Kudos to those of you with husbands that work out of town! You are amazing. I could never do it.
Payton missed his daddy way to much. Once he got there, every time Chad would stand up to go to the bathroom Payton would freak out thinking he was leaving..
He loved helping daddy with everything. Especially putting up Grandma and Grandpa Sims christmas lights! And lets face it we were much happier spending the holidays in shorts and flip flops instead of the snow!
Isn't he just the sweetest? I caught this photo. I hadn't even walked out of the room from laying him down.. He was exhausted.
And finally at 3 1/2 yrs old Payton got his first haircut! He still doesn't have much but it was enough he needed a trim. And of course we got Aunt Janice to follow tradition and cut his in the same spot she cut his daddies for the first time!
Chad and I got our first date night in almost 4 months. It was so nice getting out just the two of us. We went and seen the new Hunger Games movie, and Casa Ole of course!
Payton and I had our fair share of Jasons Deli while we were home. Payton loves their Grilled Cheese. And only their grilled cheese!! We went probably once or twice a week.. Totally
worth it. I miss it already!
Daddy was a rebel and let Payton drive around all the back roads in town. Payton felt like such a big boy and doesn't understand why he can't drive around here at home.. (People drive to crazy around these mountains!)
